Back to Real Madrid, after having played for Olympique Lyon during last season, Spanish-Dominican striker Mariano Diaz (25), now wearing Blancos n° 7 jersey, told Cadena COPE: "The number 7 was vacant, after Ronaldo left, so I took it, simple as that. I like it, and wearing it is a hell of a personal challenge. That was all really fast: Real called me, asked me to move back, and I said yes, since it was what I most wanted. Sevilla FC wanted me too, but this is the club I was dreaming of, and now I'm really happy".
