Real Madrid players upset with president Perez plans for Kane

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is facing push back over his interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Perez is making Kane a priority target for 2018, with talk of a €200m bid being prepared, which could also involve both Gareth Bale and Borja Mayoral moving in the opposite direction.

However, Don Balon says Perez is now facing protest from inside the locker room, including both from the players and coaching staff.

The big concern is Kane would arrive to replace Karim Benzema, who remains one of the most popular players at the club. The belief remains the Frenchman is a superior striker to Kane.

And the message to Perez is Benzema remains a valued member of the Real squad and shouldn't be replaced.
