Real Madrid push Man Utd to drop De Gea price

Real Madrid are pushing Manchester United to drop their price for David de Gea.

Real are expected to step up their pursuit of the Spain goalkeeper after Saturday's Champions League final triumph.

But the Sunday Mirror says they feel the Reds' £60million valuation of the 26-year-old is inflated.

The La Liga giants have made landing Spain's No 1 a priority.

But they will have to make United a realistic offer if they are to draw the Manchester club into negotiations.

United are prepared to offer De Gea a new contract worth £200,000-a-week if they can keep Madrid at bay for a second time.
