Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been named The Best at the FIFA awards.
The Portuguese star, speaking in his native tongue as well as English, also thanked his rivals, Lionel Messi and Neymar, who were in attendance at the London Palladium.
"Firstly, I want to thank my Real Madrid and Portugal teammates - it was an exceptional year," Ronaldo told the FIFA gala.
"I've been coming up for these awards for eleven years now because of talent, hard work and a lot of dedication.
"My objective is to win trophies for the team but also individually."
It was an unforgettable year for Ronaldo and the Portuguese star made sure that he extended his gratitude to his loved ones.
"My family is here tonight, this is for you, for my brothers, my friends, my boy, my girlfriend," he said.
"Also this is for my two other kids and for the one on its way next month."
