Real Madrid centre-back Pepe could be available to sign for a Premier League club in the near future.

The 33-year-old is in the final year of his current deal at the Bernabeu, but is yet to be offered his desired contract renewal. Pepe is eager to sign a new two-year deal, but Real are reportedly only offering a deal for next season.

With the La Liga club unable to compete with the wage structures of the Premier League or the Chinese Super League, Pepe could be tempted to end his lengthy association with the club.

One source told Spanish publication AS as quoted byThe Sunthat a move to England or China may be too good to turn down.

What he could earn in two years [if he left], they couldn't pay him here in four," the source revealed.

Some of [the offers] are hard to turn down.

Since joining Real in 2007 Pepe has made 327 appearances in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and helping the club win two La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies. The former Porto defender also helped Portugal win the UEFA Euro 2016 during the summer.

Pepe has faced competition for places in recent years at Realfrom the likes of Raphael Varane and Nacho, with club captain Sergio Ramos a mainstay in Real's first-team.

Pepe started Real's 3-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday, with Zinedine Zidane's side needing a last minute winner from Ramos to win their last La Liga match of 2016.
