Real Tamale United hasn't trained for three days ahead of King Faisal clash - Sey Mubarak

Real Tamale United is facing an unexpected setback as they enter a crucial match against King Faisal on Sunday.

In a surprising turn of events, the team's training routine has come to an abrupt halt due to a player boycott, leaving them unprepared for the impending clash.

According to Real Tamale United's spokesperson, Sey Mubarak, the team has gone three consecutive days without any training sessions, raising concerns about their readiness for the upcoming game.

The absence of training leaves supporters wondering how this unforeseen disruption will impact their performance on the field.

"If you are preparing for a game and for three days you have not trained that alone speaks volumes of how you are going to approach this particular game. So first of all what we need to do today is to try and convince the players to honor the match. Because we know the consequences that will follow if we are unable to honor that match on Sunday,"

Sey Mubarak explained what prompted the player boycott.

"The players met on Monday and their decision was that the club owes them about three months salary and then two winning bonuses. These bonuses came as a result of victories over Bechem United and Accra Hearts of Oak,"

"They say they had the same experience last season and when they went home management did not give them anything. And as at now the management owes them and they do not want that experience to happen again,"
