Record breaker Aguero's golden boots

The relief was palpable when Sergio Aguero rattled home Manchester City's third goal in their 4-2 win over Napoli in midweek to finally move into the clear as his club's undisputed all-time top goalscorer.

Having drawn a frustrated blank in his previous outing against Wolves in the Carabao Cup, the striker finally scored the goal that saw him take his City total to 178, one more than previous record holder Eric Brook.

To celebrate Kun's momentous milestone, Puma have produced a dazzling one-off pair of custom boots for him to wear in Sunday's crunch clash against Arsenal. It's perhaps only fitting that they be hewed from purest gold.

City also intend to pay homage to their record-breaking star, with several club legends including Colin Bell, Denni Trueart and Shaun Goater lining up to offer Aguero a guard of honour as part of a special prematch ceremony at the Etihad.

It's certain to be an unforgettable day for Aguero, who will then no doubt look to extend his golden tally against the Gunners.
