Rene Hiddink to decide next Hearts of Oak head coach - Reports

Technical director of Hearts of Oak, Rene Hiddink will decide the new head coach of the club.

The Dutch trainer is leading the new technical team of the club following the announcement of the 1st batch of the technical team announced by the club.

Hearts of Oak is currently without a head coach ahead of the new 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

The club started last season with Samuel Boadu but was sacked midway through last season.

Boadu was replaced by Slavko Matic on a two-year deal but the Serbian manager was chased out by the fans due to a poor run of results.

The then assistant coach, David Ocloo took over the club as the interim coach and finished at the 12th position with 46 points.

However, following the conclusion of the season, the club and David Ocloo mutually parted ways.

With the season set to get underway in September, Hearts of Oak are yet to decide on a new trainer.

However, Rene Hiddink will decide who become the next head coach of the Phobian Club according to Graphic Sports.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak will begin their season with an away game against Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
