Mikel Arteta has identified Thomas Partey, Philippe Coutinho and Willian as his priority targets according to the Times.
Partey currently has a release clause of 50 million euros and Arsenal were in talks with Atletico Madrid to find a compromise. They offered a cash plus player deal which the Spanish outfit rejected outright. However, it is believed that Arsenal will still push for a deal as the player is considered a key part for next summer.
Barcelona are looking to offload Coutinho as soon as possible after a bad spell with the club. He went out on loan to Bayern Munich but the Bavarians opted against keeping him permanently. According to reports, Arsenal are looking at a loan deal for him.
Willian has rejected a new two-year contract offered by Chelsea and is currently in talks with Arsenal for a free transfer. It has been widely reported that he will decide his future after one week.
