REPPORT: Kotoko’s Ivorian midfielder Didi Arnold agrees to a pay cut

Published on: 22 November 2019

Midfielder of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Alexis Didi Arnold has reportedly agreed to a pay cut at the club following their exit from the two of CAF’s inter-club competitions.

The Ivoirian international joined the Porcupine Warriors in a lucrative deal to strengthen their attacking department.

After making the needed impact, it is understood that the management of the club has been discussing his contract in a bid to reduce his pay.

Our sources say the striker has agreed to the pay cut and will sign the necessary papers to make it official in the next couple of days.

Meanwhile, Kotoko’s management is understood to be in talks with Ugandan import George Abege for him to agree to a similar pay cut.

Though there has not been any progress in that particular regard, they are optimistic about reaching an agreement soon.
