REVEALED: Barcelona chief Robert met with Liverpool chiefs in London about Coutinho

Published on: 06 November 2017

Barcelona sports chief Robert Fernandez was in London over the weekend on a scouting mission.

Robert was at London stadium on Saturday to see Liverpool thrash West Ham 4-1.

The subject of his attention, says Sport, was Reds midfielder and long-term Barca transfer target Philippe Coutinho.

However, the Brazil international missed the game as Liverpool ran riot.

But it was not a wasted trip for Robert, who is said to have met with Liverpool officials while at the game to further discuss ferrying Coutinho away to Barca in January.

Barca chief Oscar Grau has already stated their intentions to sign Coutinho during the winter market.
