AS Monaco's injury management of Kylian Mbappe during negotiations with Real Madrid pushed him towards PSG, it has been revealed.

JDD says as Monaco and Real were in advanced talks for the teen, it was decided that Mbappe should not be selected for a July 19 friendly against Fenerbahce. Monaco felt the striker should not play so to avoid injury.
However, the decision did not impress Mbappe's father, Wilfried, who felt his son was being mistreated by putting his preseason progress at risk so to avoid a 'diplomatic injury'

It was then that Mbappe's camp began listening to PSG which eventually led to the youngster joining them in the final week of the summer market.
