REVEALED: Zidane demands THREE big Real Madrid January signings

Published on: 07 December 2017

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane wants three signings made next month.

Zidane has already stated this week he expects January additions to be made as his team has stumbled in the LaLiga this season.

Diario Gol says three significant deals will be sought, with Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga due to first arrive. Personal terms with the Spain cap have already been settled.

In attack, Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi is expected to sign. Like Kepa, a contract has been settled with the Argentine, though a fee is still be thrashed out with Inter.

For defence, Zidane wants an experienced centre-half added. Chelsea defender David Luiz is the top choice, though negotiations are only at the initial stage.

Other options considered are Lucas Hernandez (Atletico Madrid), Marquinhos (PSG), Aymeric Laporte (Athletic Bilbao), Leonardo Bonucci (AC Milan), Iñigo Martínez (Real Sociedad) and Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax).
