Reverse fixture between Ghana’s Black Queens and Guinea to be handled by Senegalese referee Fatoumata Sall

CAF has appointed Senegalese Referee Fatoumata Sall Toure to officiate the reverse fixture of the game between Ghana and Senegal in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The game which is the second leg game of the first round of the women’s qualifiers for the Olympic Games will be played on Tuesday, July 18.

“Senegalese Referee Fatoumata Sall Toure will officiate the Women's Olympic Games football tournament qualifying match between the Black Queens of Ghana and their Guinean counterparts on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

“The Senegalese Referee will be assisted by her compatriots Fatou Bintou Sene and Tabara Mbodji with Faye Mame Coumba as the fourth Official.

“Ahoua Aya Irene from Cote DÍvoire is the Referee Assessor with Tall Zoungrana Sabine Marie Isabelle from Burkina Faso as the Match Commissioner,” the Ghana FA announced on Saturday.

Ghana has a big advantage in the contest after beating Guinea 3-0 in the first leg.

Head coach of the Black Queens Nora Hauptle is upbeat ahead of the second leg and wants her side to score more goals.
