Accra Hearts of Oak have cleared the air following Richard Attah's injury against Aduana Stars.

Attah's injury came as a big worry to the fans of the club and also to the national team, the Black Stars.

The 26-year old goalkeeper was stretched off the pitch on the 32nd minute and was feared to have suffered from a muscle tear.

Atta was immediately taken to the Presbyterian hospital in Dormaa for diagnosis in Dormaa.

However, Hearts of Oak have confirmed that the former Elmina Sharks star has been discharged from the hospital with his situation confirmed less harmful as earlier feared.

Attah is expected to be named in Ghana's squad for the 2022 World Cup playoff games against Nigeria later this month.

Ghana will play against Nigeria in a two-legged tie on March 25 and 29 in Ghana and in Abuja respectively.
