Richard Boadu joins Asante Kotoko from Medeama SC on three-year deal

Richard Boadu has completed a move to Asante Kotoko from Medeama SC in the ongoing transfer window.

The 23-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors after successful negotiations.

"We are delighted to announce the signing of midfield enforcer Richard Boadu on a three-year deal from Medeama SC," Kotoko posted on their Twitter handle.

Boadu was one of the consistent performers for Medeama, making 24 league appearances and scoring one goal which came against  Kotoko on match week 21 of last season's Premier League.

He is currently a member of the Black Stars 'B' team.

The midfielder becomes the 8th signing by the club, having acquired the services of former Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang of Wamanfo Mighty Royals FC, Clinton Opoku from Phar Rangers, Samuel Boateng from Future Stars, Isaac Oppong of Bectero Sassana FC, and Samuel Appiah from Medeama SC and Augustine Agyapong.
