Former Ghana international, Shilla Alhassan has questioned the inclusion of Maritzburg United's goalkeeper, Richard Ofori in the new Black Stars captaincy structure.
The nations football governing body in a statement announced the new leadership structure of the Black Stars under CK Akonnor as Andre Ayew was retained captain of the team and he will be deputized by Thomas Partey and Richard Ofori.
But according to Shilla Alhassan, Richard Ofori does not deserve to be the 2nd vice captain for the country.
He lamented that the former Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso should have earn a place in the new captaincy structure looking at the number of games he is played for the nation.
"Andre Ayew was superb, he deserve it. Thomas Partey too deserve because he has the name and playing day in day out but Richard Ofori does not because Wakaso supposed to be the 2nd vice"
"I wanted Wakaso to be 2nd vice because he is killing himself for the nation and he is capped more than Ofori" he said.
