Newly-appointed Inter Allies captain Richmond Lamptey is eyeing a respectable position with the club in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which kicks off this weekend.
Lamptey took over the captaincy duty from Hashmin Musah ahead of the season following his impressive leadership qualities and the club's faith in him to lead them this season.
Speaking to his the club’s website via a short video, the midfielder says he is delighted to lead the club and hope to lead the team to a good position.
"I’m happy and it’s an honor to be the captain of Inter Allies. And I hope to lead the team to a good position [in the upcoming league] ", Richmond Lamptey told the club’s website via a short video after he was announced as the new skipper of the team.
Inter Allies will face current champions Aduana Stars in their league opener the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on Sunday.
