Richmond Lamptey lauds Asante Kotoko fans after win over Bechem United

Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey has lauded the club's fans following their amazing support at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors scored two late goals to seal all three points on match week two of the Ghana Premier League.

The win takes them to the top of the embryonic Premier League table with six points after two games played so far.

The two teams created some chances in the first half but none managed to find the net.

In the second half, Kotoko showed more purpose and were rewarded in the 87th minute via a Ganiyu strike.

Samuel Boateng gave the hosts a two-goal cushion with a header in injury time.

Kotoko remain one of the best teams in the competition, clinching six points so far and placing first

Bechem United have been good so far despite the loss with three points.

Lamptey joined Kotoko from Inter Allies on a three-year deal prior to the start of the season and has featured in all Reds' games so far.
