Roma chief Monchi will push to close a deal for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez today.
Rai Sport says Monchi is set to meet with Leicester counterpart Eduardo Macia to thrash out a fee for the winger.
Roma's last bid was for €35m, while the Foxes are demanding €44m to sell.
Leicester are refusing to budge on their price, knowing Arsenal are also keen on their wantaway star.
If Monchi cannot get a deal done, he'll turn to Juventus midfielder Juan Cuadrado.
