Ghana's Ropapa Mensah scored and grabbed an assist in Chattanooga Red Wolves SC's 2-0 win against Forward Madison FC on Wednesday evening.

The host team applied intense, continuous offensive pressure over the opening 45 minutes of the game, resulting in 11 shots from the Red Wolves.

Ropapa Mensah's third goal of the year, which came in the 36th minute, opened the scoring after Madison's defense and goalie had been repeatedly attacked. Moe Espinoza provided a set piece that led to the goal.

Although they made an effort to put up their own offensive press, Forward Madison was unable to get past Chattanooga's defense. Chevone Marsh scored in the 45th minute off a Ropapa Mensah pass to make it 2-0 for the Red Wolves as their offense kept up the attack on Forward Madison.

Chattanooga will face Lexington SC in the next game on June 14th.

Ropapa Mensah has made eight appearances, scored three goals, and assisted one in the USL League One this season.
