Ropapa Mensah scores in Chattanooga Red Wolves SC's draw with Greenville Triumph SC

Ghana's Ropapa Mensah scored in Chattanooga Red Wolves SC's 2-2 draw with Greenville Triumph SC in the USL League.

Ropapa Mensah started the game at the CHI Memorial Stadium and lasted the full 90 minutes.

The Red Wolves carried a 2-0 advantage into halftime after a fast-paced opening 45 minutes. In the 10th minute of play, Jonny Filipe opened the scoring with an assist from Ryley Kraft.

Filipe received the game's first caution for dissent in the 13th minute. A little while afterward, Chevone Marsh made a terrific run into the box but was stopped by the Greenville goalkeeper.

In the 27th minute of the game, Kraft crossed the ball into the box, where Ropapa Mensah finished it off for his 11th goal of the season for the Red Wolves.

Greenville was awarded a free kick in the 33rd minute of the game, but the Red Wolves defense cleared it away. In the 34th minute, Chevone Marsh got a free kick and blasted it barely over the crossbar.

Greenville found their attacking rhythm and scored in the 53rd minute with a goal by Jacob Labovitz. Leo Castro scored in the 61st minute to give them their second goal and tie the game.

In their next league encounter, the Red Wolves will play Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC.
