Finish side Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPS) have completed the signing of Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Raymond Gyasi in the on-going January transfer window.

The 25-year-old penned a deal with the club following the expiration of his contract with Norwegian side Stabaek FC.

"We were even lucky enough to get a player with such a profile for ourselves," says RoPS head coach Vesa Tauriainen about his new player.

Gyasi signed his first professional contract with the Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the 2013/14 season, having previously featured for their junior sides.

In 2017, he joined Stabæk in the Norwegian top-flight on a three-year deal, however after a decent 2017 season he broke his leg in late March 2018, just as the new season was about to start, and missed most of the year.

He was part of Ghana U-23 team that qualified for the 2015 All African Games in Congo Brazzaville in 2015.

He is the younger brother of current Black Stars winger Edwin Gyasi.

He was born in the Netherlands to parents of Ghanaian descent, however he is still eligible to play for Ghana.
