Roy Hodgson has done a good job so far - Jordan Ayew lauds Crystal Palace interim manager

Jordan Ayew has praised Crystal Palace interim manager, Roy Hodgson for his instant impact at the club.

Palace after failing to record a win in 2023 under Patrick Vieira has recorded back-to-back wins under Hodgson who replaced the French trainer.

The Eagles recorded a 2-1 win over Leicester City before hammering Leeds United 5-1 at Elland Road over the weekend.

Having scored a brace, Jordan lauded Hodgson for his impact so far at the club.

“It is the Premier League and you are playing against the good sides, so sometimes it is going to be difficult.”

“We always have to stick to the gameplan from Roy, try and help the team, stay in the shape, track my man, do the basic things basically in the game and afterwards you’re rewarded.”

“Since Roy came in, he is done a good job so far, allowed us to express ourselves and that is what we are doing.”

“Not to forget about what Patrick did for the club as well, I want to thank him as well for the amazing job he did here before.”

“It is a shame we lost him, but we thank him for everything he is done for us during that time," he added.

Before Roy Hodgson took over, Ayew had been struggling to make an impact under Patrick Vieira, having only registered one goal and one assist in 28 Premier League appearances this season.
