There is tension in the camp of RS Bekane ahead of their first leg meeting with Obuasi Ashanti Gold following a misunderstanding at the team’s training grounds earlier this afternoon that forced poster boy Alan Traore to storm out.

Footballghana.com checks have revealed that the forward had a confrontation with fellow teammate Djibril Ouattara whiles they were training at the Opoku Ware school park in Kumasi.

The Burkinabe import was left fuming and opted to walk out of training whiles they were intensifying preparations for their crunch clash with the Ghana Premier League giants.

RS Bekane is hoping to upset Ashgold when they lock horns with them this weekend to ensure they make the return leg in Morocco a mere formality.

That dream is now in shambles following the unfortunate incident that happened today.

Though coach Munir Jaouani and some other teammates tried to get the team’s star man to get back to training, he turned a deaf ear and watched on from afar till they finished the days work.

It is now up to the technical staff of the side to talk to the Alan Traore and Djibril Ouattara to convince them to smoke the peace pipe and put the team first as they go into the CAF confederations cup fixture.

The match between Ashgold and RS Bekane will be played at 15:00GMT on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
