The extremely delicate struggle for survival against Genoa is becoming closer for Salernitana, with two sides searching for points and self-esteem to fuel aspirations for salvation that are now pretty distant.

Sunday's encounter in Marassi signifies a true crossroads, with just one watchword: victory. A victory in Genoa, in fact, would provide immense optimism and self-esteem for the championship's continuation, allowing the team to pursue the much-desired aim of salvation.

Salernitana is keeping an eye on danger man Kelvin Kwarteng Yeboah, a 2000-born striker who arrived in the winter market session from Sturm Graz. The Italian footballer, although born in Ghana, is among the most talented of the Genoa squad, especially among the most effective in the goal zone. Even so far Yeboah is the second most prolific Italian striker after Ciro Immobile, thanks to the various goals scored in the Austrian championship.

His professional career, in fact, begins in Austria at Wsg Tirol, a team with which he collects 17 appearances and scores 2 goals in the 2018/19 Austrian Serie B championship. A good season that allows him to get the reconfirmation for the following year, this time in the Austrian top flight due to the promotion of his team. In the 2019/20 season, Yeboah scored 4 goals in 25 appearances, as well as the following year until January he plays 17 games and still scores 4 goals. The definitive explosion, however, takes place at the Sturm Graz, arriving right in the winter session of last season. In the first six months with the new shirt the striker scores 6 goals in 17 appearances, while in this first part of the season he impresses with the performance of 14 goals in 28 total matches. Above all, the league score of 11 goals in just 18 matches is striking, so much so as to attract the attention of Genoa's neo-technician Blessin.

He has played 3 games in the Rossoblu jersey, covering the role of forward in a 4-3-1-2 or that of a winger in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1.
