Samartex coach Nurudeen Amadu impressed with team performance despite defeat to Kotoko

Samartex coach Nurudeen Amadu has expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players despite succumbing to defeat against Asante Kotoko.

The Timber giants suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Porcupine Warriors in matchday 27 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Midfielder Enoch Morrison emerged as the hero for Kotoko, converting from the penalty spot in the second half to clinch the lone goal of the game in matchday 27 of the Ghanaian top-flight.

Despite defeat, Nurudeen Amadu has heaped praise in his players for the explosive display against the Ghanaian giants.

“They played very well. They played to instructions. We had some few chances but we couldn’t utilize it. For officiating, I don’t want to talk about it. I think that my players did well”

Despite defeat, Samartex remains top of the Ghana Premier League table with 49 points after 27 matches so far this season.
