Ghana Premier League champions Samartex have completed the signing of goalkeeper Japheth Norvienyo in the ongoing transfer window.
The 20-year-old shot stopper joins the Timber giants after ending his spell with fellow Premier League outfit, Nations FC.
The highly-rated goalkeeper penned a three-year deal with Samartex, keeping him at the club until 2027.
His acquisition strengthens the club’s goalkeeping department and adds a new dimension to the team.
He is expected to play a huge role for the Timber giants in the upcoming football season.
The talented goalkeeper made 14 appearances in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign for Nations.
Samartex are currently in the Eastern Region preparing for the new season. They will feature in three major competitions (FA Cup, Ghana Premier League and CAF Champions League).
