Berekum Chelsea tactician Samuel Boadu has reacted following his outfit defeat to Samartex in matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Timber giants secured a hard-fought 3-2 win over the Bibires at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Samartex, who are currently on top of the standings wasted no time asserting their dominance, capitalizing on early opportunities to keep the pressure on Chelsea.

However, it was Samartex talisman Evans Osei Wusu who broke the deadlock, netting two goals before halftime.

After the break, both teams adjusted their tactics, with Chelsea launching a spirited comeback. Stephen Amankona pulled one back for Chelsea in the 72nd minute, but Samartex responded swiftly with a goal from Baba Hamadu Musa.

A late surge from Chelsea saw Amankona find the net again in the 79th minute, but it wasn't enough to overturn Samartex's lead, securing them the victory and maintaining their top position in the league standings.

Speaking after the game, Boadu said, “It was a very good game. Tactically, were disciplined in the game. In the first half Samartex dominated the game and took the second half but it wasn’t enough to save us from defeat”

Berekum Chelsea will take on reigning champions Medeama in matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League.
