Former Ghana Football Association Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Daara has described the transition of former Black Queens player Samira Suleman into coaching as admirable.

The 32-year-old has been playing in Iceland for Víkingur Ólafsvík since 2016, but retirement is on the horizon. Consequently, she has been working on her coaching certificates for quite some time now.

The former Hasaacas Ladies forward is currently working with youth teams in Iceland, aiming to complete her badges soon after retirement.

Reacting to Samira’s development, the respected Ibrahim Sannie Daara was full of praise for her, as she has figured out what she will be doing after retirement.

“Ex-Ghana star Samira Suleman's remarkable journey from being a footballer and now a coach is completely admirable," he wrote on X, formerly X.

“The 32-year-old has played both at home and abroad. As retirement looms she has figured out what she wants to do next and it has started well in Iceland.”
