Samuel Boadu praises 'discipline' Hearts of Oak players after win over Legon Cities

Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has lauded his players following their hard-fought win over Legon Cities.

The Phobians recorded a 2-1 win over Legon Cities in the matchday 30 games on Thursday night at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kwadwo Obeng Jnr broke the deadlock before Frederick Ansah Botchway doubled the lead with a rocket goal.

In the dying minute of the first half, Nigerien forward, Victorien Adebayor scored a consolation for the Royals.

After the win, Boadu lauded his side for their discipline on the pitch.

"It was a beautiful game and the spectators can asserted to the fact that we have a very good team," he said after the game.

"We have players who listen to instructions tactically, mentally and physically.

"They're very good and I love them," he added.

The Phobians now sit on top of the league log with 56 points.

Hearts of Oak are now set to take on their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in a 'Top of Table' clash this Sunday in the capital- a game many have described as one to decide who wins the league this year in the matchday 31 games.
