Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has set sights on following the footsteps of the late Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio by winning more trophies for the club.

The 36-year-old has won five titles for the Phobians since joining the club last year - thus the Ghana Premier League, Super Cup, President's Cup and FA Cup twice.

Coach Attuquayefio won more laurels for Hearts including the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup titles as well as multiple titles on the domestic scene.

"I want to be like the late Cecil Jones Attuquayefio. May his soul rest in peace."

"I am gradually learning from some of the things he did and I know very soon I will get there,", coach Boadu told Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM.

The former Medeama SC trainer became the first coach to retain the FA Cup title since the late Jones Attuquayefi achieved the feat in 1999 and 2000 by beating 10-man Bechem United on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.
