Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has revealed that he will be delighted to play in Georgia in the 2021 football season.

The experienced defender joined Georgian National League side Samtredia earlier this year and went on to enjoy a stellar campaign with the team.

With his contract ending, Samuel Inkoom has returned to Ghana where he is now preparing for another move in the January transfer window.

Speaking to the First Channel of Georgia, the former Ghana U-20 star has shared that he would live to return to Georgia next year.

“I said at the time of my arrival that I had played in 11 countries. To come here and the Black Sea, who's wanted for a long time and this wish come true. However, the biggest surprise for me was Georgia and Georgians. I felt really good here and if I am invited again, I will be happy to come back,” Samuel Inkoom said.

The defender added, “I have been in Georgia for almost 11 months and I am convinced that such a benevolent country towards Africans is not very friendly to me. I made real friends in the team, who kindly ask me to stay and play in "Samtredia" again. It was a discovery and a big surprise for me. Therefore, wherever I go, I will say everywhere that Georgia is a very good country, where very good people live and where I have made real friends."

Samuel Inkoom in the past played 44 matches for the Ghana national team. In 2010, he played in the quarterfinals of the World Cup with the Black Stars.
