Ghanaian international Samuel Inkoom has returned to training at his Georgian club Samtredia as the country’s football prepares to make a return amid the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

The football season in Georgia was expected to commence a couple of months ago but had to be put on hold because of the outbreak of the disease.

With plans to begin the season underway, clubs are gradually returning to training to build the fitness of their players who have been at home for the past weeks.

Over the weekend, Samuel Inkoom was spotted at his team’s training facility as he was being tested for symptoms of the Covid-19 disease.

He continues to train as he hopes to get back to playing football very soon. In a post on his Instagram page, the former Black Stars defender posted, ‘good to be back’.

Samuel Inkoom, 31, joined FC Samtredia in the Erovnuli Liga in the winter transfer window after partying ways with Bulgarian side FC Dunav.‎
