Ghanaian international, Samuel Obeng has reacted to Huesca's 1-1 draw with CD Tenerife on Monday evening.

Obeng put up a very good performance to help Huesca secure a point in their quest to stay in the league.

The young but experienced attacker started for his team today in the Round 37 encounter of the ongoing Spanish La Liga 2 season.

Following a very good display from Huesca today, the team had the lead at halftime.

Leading striker Samuel Obeng was presented with a fine opportunity in the 33rd minute and made sure he buried the ball in the back of the net.

Unfortunately, for Huesca, the team could not defend the lead in the second half. A strong display from CD Tenerife saw the team restoring parity through a strike from Waldo Rubio.

In the end, the game finished 1-1 as both teams bagged a point.

After the game Samuel Obeng who was not happy with the result said

"The match leaves us with a bittersweet taste, because we scored points, but I think we deserved more. Although it is true that in the second half we have not been as competitive as in the first. We have to leave it behind and think about Málaga now,"

"Right now the goals don't matter. I'm always going to be happy to score, the important thing is the three points, it doesn't matter if the goals are mine or a teammate's, " he said, also referring to the disallowed goal.

"It has been a pity, and the truth is that I don't know what he whistled", and also to his personal feelings: "In the first part it was more difficult for me because of the ankle, but I want to send encouragement to my teammates who today could not be there, to see if we can all be there the next day,"

"It is clear that the important thing is always to keep adding, to get closer to the goal,"
