Ghanaian attacker, Samuel Tetteh found the back of the net for LASK Linz as he celebrates his 23rd birthday to help them beat Altach 2-0 0n the opening weekend of the 2019/2020 league season in Austria.
The victors started off their Austria Bundesliga campaign very well and deservedly took the lead just 7 minutes into the first half. It was no other person than Samuel Tetteh whose strike charged up the Arena Marchtrenk.
None of the sides managed to equalize and allowed the scoreline to stay the same as they went into the break.
All efforts from Altach to draw level proved futile in the second half and they invited the home side to get their second of the day to drag the match beyond their reach.
Striker Klauss cemented the victory with a 79th-minute goal to ensure they bagged all three points.
The birthday boy is on loan from Red Bulls Salzburg and is expected to play a key role for LASK Linz throughout this season.
