Former AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is no fan of coach Vincenzo Montella.

That's according to Sassuolo patron Giorgio Squinzi.

"On Easter Saturday, Inter and Milan were playing in the derby and at half-time Stefano Pioli's side was 2-0 up," Squinzi – a lifelong Milan supporter – told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I remember that day Berlusconi called me during the half-time break. He told me: 'That Coach understands very little.' He was not happy with Montella."

He added: “I think Montella should be allowed to get on with his work, just as Cristian Bucchi should at Sassuolo. Personally, I don't think Montella is the right Coach to bring us back into the Champions League. He's not a great tactician, but a good one."
