Saying thank you to Roy Hodgson not enough – Jordan Ayew

Ghana and Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew says it would not be enough appreciation to say thank you to Roy Hodgson for what he has done for him over the years.

Hodgson brought Jordan to the club on loan first in 2018 and signed him permanently the following year. The Ghanaian has played under the Englishman in his two stints at the club.

Speaking of the managerial changes at Crystal Palace, Jordan Ayew, who has seen his minutes reduced drastically since Glasner came in, again paid tribute to a manager who has been instrumental in his success in England.

“The manager [Oliver Glasner] has come in and he has done brilliantly well. Obviously, Roy [Hodgson] has done so much for the club and not only for the club, for me personally. He has been instrumental for me and my career. Thank you is not enough. I always say it,” Jordan told Premier League productions.

Amidst the reduced minutes, Ayew has been a standout performer for Palace throughout the season.

He picked up accolades such as the club's Player of the Month in both August and February and scored four goals, with eight assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
