Under-fire Borussia Dortmund boss Peter Bosz is under more pressure as his side lost a 4-0 lead to draw 4-4 in the Revierderby against Schalke on Saturday.

Fourth-placed Dortmund took on their fierce local rivals at the Signal Iduna Park in a terrible run of form, which had piled on the pressure on their Dutch coach just five months into his reign, but raced into a four goal lead -- with all four coming in a 13-minute spell.

19-year-old Christian Pulisic (Dortmund) and Weston McKennie (Schalke) started to become the first pair of American teenagers to play in the same Bundesliga game. And it was Pulisic who had the immediate impact as he was part of the slick move that saw Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang net on 12 minutes.

An own goal from Benjamin Stambouli six minutes later saw the hosts double their advantage and Aubameyang turned provider to put a wonderful assist on a plate for Mario Gotze to score again on 20 minutes.

Raphael Guerreiro's volley made it 4-0 as Dortmund eased into half-time with a comfortable cushion.

But Guido Burgstaller pulled a goal back for Schalke in the second half as he lobbed Roman Weidenfeller with a header. And the Dortmund nerves were jangling as Amine Harit cut the deficit in half with another just four minutes later.

With less than 20 minutes left, Aubameyang picked up a second yellow card and was sent off. Daniel Caligiuri then struck in the 86th minute to set up a tense finale.

And Schalke's comeback was complete in seven minutes of injury time as Naldo struck the equaliser.
