Scotland-born Ghanaian Ewan Otoo completes move to Dunfermline Athletic from Celtic

Scottish-born Ghanaian defender, Ewan Otoo has completed a permanent move to Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic from giants, Celtic.

Ewan has signed a 3-year deal with the League One champions after an initial loan deal.

The 20-year-old was on loan from Celtic last season to Dunfermline and helped them to win the Scottish League One Last season.

Otto featured in all eleven game after joining on loan from Celtic in February 2023.

The youngster who can play on the left side or in central defence, impressed as he captained Celtic B against Dunfermline in the SPFL Trust Trophy back in November 2022.

Following a serious hamstring injury to Rhys Breen, Ewan formed a central defensive partnership with Kyle Benedictus and played every minute of the Pars final eight League One matches.

The Ghanaian youngster who has impeccable quality as a centre-back is also versatile in playing a number of roles in the game.

Ewan will spend the next three seasons at Dunfermline Athletic until 2026.

Despite featuring for Scotland at several youth levels, Ewan could play for Ghana where he hails from.
