Seamus Coleman Still Hopeful Everton Can Beat United to Continental Qualification

Seamus Coleman is still dreaming of Everton's continental qualification, as reported by theDaily Star. The full back thinks the Toffees can still leapfrog Manchester United and finish in sixth place, thus qualifying for Europe.

The 28-year-old said, prior to their 3-2 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday, that:We have been playing well recently. We got off to a decent start this season winning four and drawing one of our first five league games, then it was a tricky spell and the top six pulled away in that period.

"We have been left to play catch-up and want to stay in touch. We want to look up rather than down. The top six are difficult to compete with because of the money they have and the number of talented players in their squads, but we have to try and hold on to their tails. We have to believe.

Coleman has admitted that Everton find inspiration when thinking about Leicester City's shocktitle win:That was an amazing story and I continue to be so impressed by what they did because I know how hard it is to go week-in and week-out and keep getting results.

"There are so many hard grounds to go to, so many games where you can slip up. But they handled everything so well. That'll be very difficult for anyone, to replicate. You have to keep going and going, though.
