Second West Brom player joined Brunt blast against Pardew

Chris Brunt wasn't alone in turning on West Brom boss Alan Pardew after defeat to Huddersfield.

The Daily Mail says following the latest loss to Huddersfield at the Hawthorns Brunt tore in the tactics used and the effort of some players.

Claudio Yacob joined Brunt in criticising Pardew after the manager had defended his selections, before assistant John Carver backed up his colleague and acted as peacemaker.

Pardew revealed on Friday that Brunt had seen him this week to apologise over his 'outburst' and insisted such fierce dialogue was a positive indication the team are determined to pull off a miraculous escape from relegation.

But it is believed that Pardew, who plans changes at Watford on Saturday, faces a difficult task in convincing players to buy into his methods. It is thought Pardew's occasionally pointed criticism of younger players has gone down badly with some seasoned professionals.
