Semifinals of FA Cup will be held at Dr. Kwame Kyei Stadium - FA Cup committee member George Ofosuhene

FA Cup committee member George Ofosuhene has stated that the semifinals of the FA Cup will be held at Dr. Kwame Kyei Stadium. 

In the quarterfinal games, King Faisal beat Ghana Premier League leaders Aduana Stars 3-1 on penalties to progress to the semifinal. Eric Antwi Konadu’s second minute strike gave Skyy FC a 1-0 win over Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs to qualify for the semifinals.

Premier League new boys Nsoatreman FC also scored in the first half to eliminate three-time finalist Real Tamale United and book a place in the semifinals.

Dreams FC scored in extra time to beat Legon Cities 1-0 to book a place in the semifinals.

"Well, the semifinals we will play the two here it will be a doubleheader here and I think it is going to be one of its kind. Abrankese Dr. Kyei Sports Stadium because if you look at this stadium and we want to develop football I think we should also promote things like this," he said on Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"So that the whole world will see what is also happening here. And I must say that you see flood lights working everything is intact those visiting us everybody is impressed so I must say you see I am happy it is exciting,"
