Serbian Defender Vukasin Jovanovic Admits He Wants to Play for Chelsea One Day

Zenit St Petersburg defender Vukasin Jovanovic has claimed he wants to play for Chelsea in the future.

The Serbian - who is currently on loan at Bordeaux - told Sports Daily he has his eyes firmly set on a move to the Premier League.

"I would like to play in England, against the biggest teams on the planet," Jovanovic claimed.

"I want to play in the Champions League. What club? Chelsea."

Serbia have produced several high quality defenders in the Premier League, including Nemanja Vidic, Aleksandar Kolarov and Branislav Ivanovic -who has just moved toZenit.

And Jovanovic appears to be looking forward to playing alongside his compatriot: With him, you can gain invaluable experience, because Ivanovic is also a great person who always strives to help young players.�

Jovanovicplayed 13 league gamesfor Zenit this seasonbefore being loaned to France in January.

The 20-year-old made his debut for Bordeaux in their 4-0 away victory against Caen and will be hoping he canbuild up a reputationin one of Europe's toughestleagues beforehe returns to Russiaat the end of the season.

Jovanovic'sdream of playing for Chelsea could become a reality in the near future with Blues boss Antonio Conte expected to search for a replacement for Ivanovic and John Terry, should the Chelsea skipper leave west London as expected at the end of the season.

Until then, the Serbian will have to focus on helping Bordeaux climb the Ligue 1 table. The side from the south of France are currently in the hunt for a European spot and find themselves sixth after 24 games.
