Purchased by Manchester United slightly more than nine months ago, on a 15 million euros transfer fee, from Porto, 28-year old Brazilian international left-back and wingback Alex Telles, who didn't fully meet Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's expectations on him, so far at least, might be on his way back to continental Europe already. To this end, according to Sky Sport Italia, former Galatasaray player has been targeted by AS Roma. While sealing the deal with Arsenal over Granit Xhaka, Giallorossi boss José Mourinho might be soon replacing long-term injured and Euro 2020 homecoming winner Leonardo Spinazzola with another Premier League departee.

Still on a deal with Red Devils until June 2024, Telles, so far mostly a backup for Luke Shaw into United ranks, capping 24 times overall throughout latest season (11 of which in Europa League games, and only nine times in Premier League ones), is an item of interest also for Juventus, as well as for Inter Milan, which he had been fending, without leaving much of a mark, back in 2015/16.
