Back from his Benevento loan spell, all across 2020/21, 31-year old Spanish attacking midfielder and second striker Iago Falque is back into Torino ranks. Coming from a couple very unfruitful seasons by now, former AS Roma and Genoa player, still on a deal with Granata until June 2022, is very unlikely to be there for the long run, though the club new boss, Ivan Juric, named him for the first leg of the squad summer training camp.

To this end, according to Tuttosport, Iago Falque, suitable as a winger as well, has been targeted by AEK Athens. Recently linked to some inquiries from UAE and Saudi Arabia as well, Iago might even be let out on a free move, as long as Torino are that way able to offload his current wage, adding up to 1.7 million euros salary per season.
