Turning 52 on September 8, Italian trainer Eusebio Di Francesco, last training Cagliari, is about to be hired by Hellas Verona as their next boss. Once parting from Ivan Juric, who, as everyone by now knows, joined Torino, Scaligeri were linked to a bunch of names, including Alessio Dionisi (likely to leave Empoli and join Sampdoria), Davide Nicola (recently sacked by Granata themselves), and Roberto D'Aversa (who's not following Parma into second-tier realms).

After his big success as Sassuolo boss, and his mildly bittersweet one as AS Roma, Di Francesco flopped big time at Sampdoria, in late 2019. Now, he's about to resign his ongoing contract with Isolani (which confirmed Leonardo Semplici, who replace DiFra last February), and join "Romeo&Juliet" side indeed.
