Since Diego Demme has recently got injured, Napoli new manager, Luciano Spalletti, is willing to fetch Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino, as a fit replacement, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Playing for Inter Milan since 2017/18, former Fiorentina and Cagliari pitcher was brought into Neroazzurri first on Spalletti himself's demand, and was trained by current Partenopei boss along the aforementioned season, and the following one as well. Still on a deal with Serie A defending champions until June 2022, Vecino might however end up staying put, since Inter new gaffer Simone Inzaghi, on his hand, seems inclined not to hand him out.

Previously tracked by more clubs, including AC Milan, Lazio, Torino, Everton, and Valencia, Vecino is earning a 2.5 million euros annual salary right now.
