Roma have won against Inter for the first time in Serie A since February 2017 (since then 10 games winless), also in that case at Meazza.

Federico Dimarco has scored his first goal for Inter at San Siro in Serie A after 21 home games for the Nerazzurri in the competition.

Empoli-AC Milan is the fourth game in the Serie A history with three goals scored since the 90th minute of play onwards, after Perugia-Reggiana (5 January 1997), Bologna-Napoli (2 November 1997) and Fiorentina-Lazio (9 January 2016).
