Legon Cities FC has planned to have top Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium when they host Asante Kotoko this weekend.
The rebranded Wa All Stars club will go up against the Porcupine Warriors in a Match week 2 fixture of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
As part of side attraction to get more supporters to the stadium, they have adopted the strategy of treating fans to a performance from a top musician.
Earlier today, Legon Cities FC asked followers on Twitter to suggest which of the Ghanaian artiste that they will want to see perform at the stadium on the matchday.
In another post this evening, the club posted pictures of a meeting they had with Shatta Wale. Though the post was deleted soon after, it obviously paints the picture that the clubs has settled on the ‘Gringo’ hitmaker to thrill fans during their match with Asante Kotoko.
The game will be played on Friday, January 3, 2020, and will kick off at 18:00GMT.
